Banana Updates: Download Re-Vamp!

Hello ALL!!
I've decided to clean up and reorganise our downloads section, so navigation will be a little easier for everyone!
So this is our little re-vamp of sorts!


YAHooo~

All our downloads, lyrics and translations will now be under the one roof and categorised into artists.
So now all you have to do is look for the group of your choice, click on their image and it should take you to a list of all the downloads/lyrics/translations we have available for them.

Hopefully this will work, so just bear with us!

BANANA B



1-5 (AWESOMENESS)
I'm totally with B.A for Buono! being in the top 5 X) They are the BEST.
But unlike B.A, Airi would be my frist, and Nacky's my second because I'm more of a ºC-ute wota, therefore, ºC-ute > Berryz lol
I was always into Risako for some reason (I don't know what makes me attracted to her... but..) so she's my 4th favourite =)
I love Miya too, but I've been liking Risako for a longer period of time, so she comes before her =P

6-10 (BEST SINGERS)
Not so much now, but I used to really like Ai-chan, for her amazing singing and performance on stage. I was going to place her in a lower position (since I'm kinda getting sick of seeing her sing every single line), but I still can't forget how awesome she was, and maybe there's something in me, still hoping to see more from her. I dunno..
Kame, Chissa, Kanon and perhaps Maimai were chosen in the top 10, because of their awesome singing voices X)

11- 15 (UNIQUE CHARACTERS)
These members are 'interesting' =D They all have their unique personalities and singing styles which makes them stand out X)

16-20
I guess these members.... I don't know much about them yet?? I know Captain's awesome, so she comes first, but the others, I didn't really get the chance to know more about them... (maybe I should study more... lol)

21-25
Linlin, has a very unique voice where I still can't handle.. -_-" and Junjun and Mitsui (urgh) can't sing, and Chinami's mean to Momo as B.A said, and Vegetable is just Vegetable. I totally agree there lol.






As most you might already know,

Buono! the awesomest > ºC-ute the cutest > Berryz Koubou the weirdest (in a good way) > Morning Musume the legend > S/mileage the newest > Guardians 4 the coolness minus 1 person (lol)

I don't think I'll win anything because it's mostly according to my personal interest/attachments to each members (lol) but hey, it was kinda fun ranking them because I would have ranked them differently if this was like 2 years ago!!

Banana H!P 2010 Poll Results

I'm pretty excited to finally be able to participate in one of these!
I really wanted to do it last year, but we didn't have a blog back then, so I didn't.

For those of you who don't know, this is probably the most popular H!P poll amongst bloggers. It comes out annually with swish flash graphics and a prize draw too! It's totally neat!

BANANA A


1-5
Well of course I have to put all three Buono! members first, because they're what initially drew me to Hello!Project, with a little help from B.B. XD
Momo will always be reining in first then Miya and Airi. Miya is in front of Airi because I'm a Berryz whore, therefore Berryz > ºC-ute. Lolz.
Risako has actually impressed me a lot in concerts recently, she's been quite consistent and I do like her voice now. Captain rounds out the top 5, because she's just cool.

6-10
Ogawa Saki and Fukuda Kanon from S/mileage! I think they both cut their hair recently! D: I like this duo, they seem to be really good friends, and they both sing well! YAY!
Chisa, Maasa and Nacky. Three overlooked members from their respective groups. I always like the underdogs!

11-15
The five middle band members - The rest of S/mileage, the rest of ºC-ute and the giant of Berryz.
All of these members are competent in their singing, but I don't really like any of their voices that much (with the exception of MaiMai and maybe Yuuka)... I have nothing that bad to say about them either, so they go here!

16-20
All morning musume members!!
Well, morning musume has the longest history within H!P, but I've known them for the shortest amount of time. I don't know what it is about them, but I'm just not as drawn to them as the other groups. Reh, I'm just an H!P kids fangirl.

21-25
The bottom five. Dun dun dun...
Michishige can't sing. JunJun is also pretty bad at singing. Chinami can't sing and she's a biatch to Momo. Mano can't sing and is a vegetable. Mitsui... guh.




I guess after all my member rankings, my group ranking order would be pretty obvious.
Buono! is TOP! Because they are so unbelievably talented and continue to impress me to no end!
Berryz are totally rocking and consist of my two favourite Buono! members, lol.
ºC-ute has H!P kids in it! And have had some good songs. It has Airi too.
S/mileage are pretty cool.
Morning Musume are okay.
Guardians4, although lead by Mitsui are slightly salvaged because it has Risako, Nacky and Kumai-chan in it.
Mano vegetable is a vegetable.

Woah, this was way less interesting to write about then I thought. LOL!

Banana Introductions

So we said we'd do individual introductions...
And we're going to, RIGHT NOW!


I guess, to start off, I'll talk a little bit about how Banana B and I met each other and subsequently got into H!P?

Banana A and Banana B History!? (LOL)
Banana B and I met in high school! But we weren't exactly friends from the start. Banana B is actually a first language Japanese speaker, and Banana A is not! We were brought together by Japanese anime and music, and became close friends due to our frequent karaoke sessions together. And it was during these karaoke sessions that we first started getting in to Hello!Project.

At karaoke it was always more fun when we both sang the same song together. So in order to, shall I say, up our duet quota, we started learning songs from Shugo Chara, and as everyone knows both the opening and ending songs were sung by Buono! However, I didn't really like the first 2 songs (Kokoro no Tamago & Honto no Jibun) that much, and I wasn't until Renai♥Rider came out that I kind of started liking Buono.


After that, Banana B started showing me songs from other groups in Hello!Project. Although I never really liked any of their songs right from the start, after listening to Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance repeatedly for a while it started to become really catchy, and I started learning Berryz Koubou songs to sing at karaoke. After a while i started recognising the members' voices and faces and then started reading about them. Banana B didn't want to lose out either so she began updating herself on Hello!Project news too and getting pretty in to ºC-ute. And I guess the rest is history...



Favourites :) and least favourites :(
You can probably tell we're both first and foremost Buono! fans! Although I like Momoko and Banana B likes Airi (although moving more to Momoko now too!)
As for Hello!Project Kids groups, I am a Berryz fan and Banana B is the ºC-ute fangirl. That being said, Banana B will be updating more on ºC-ute happenings and I'll be updating on Berryz Koubou!

We both also like Morning Musume, but I am less well-informed than Banana B. I'm still catching up on all their history, and there's A LOT of it! We're both very familiar with the current line-up though!

As for dislikes, we're very similar! Mano Erina and Mitsui Aika are amongst our pet hates, as is Maimi's singing voice.

Blog Introductions

Welcome to Hello!Banana!!


We are Banana A and Banana B, a duo of mini wotas full of genki power!
For the safety of our social lives, we have created these highly original alternate identities :9

After being slowly sucked in to the obsessive world of Japanese idol culture, we've been wanting to start our own wota blog. And I guess this is it!
After watching the dance shot PV for Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance by Berryz Koubo we found the idol world creepy, yet strangely interesting. And from then on, it's been a battle between the two of us to see who is more up to date with news within the bounds of Hello!Project.

So, probably for our own satisfaction we'll be relaying our thoughts and feelings of H!P news and happenings here!
We'll also do individual introductions soon, since we're both fans of different H!P groups.


To any readers out there, we'd love to hear your thoughts, so don't be afraid to comment on any of our posts.
We'll try to do our best to keep up to date from now on! So please continue to read!
