Hello Project 'Favourite Member Circle Chart'

Hi blog! It's been a while!! A REALLY REALLY LONG WHILE!!
Coupled with being super busy, both of us bananas have been quite un-motivated when it comes to blogging. Hello Project just hasn't been that interesting lately!

BUT!!...

I found this chart today and have been staring at it for a really long time.
I.IS.SO.INTERESTING!!

SERIOUSLY!!



This chart is a survey asking every Hello!Project member to rank their favourite members in a given category.
My japanese sucks and I can pretty much only read katakana, so I was able to make out the first 6 questions and vaguely guess the rest.

The first question, directly underneath the member photos asks them to pick a few members to make their own unit and also give the unit a name. It's really interesting to see who each member picks!

Q1
Every member was picked for at least one unit.

Takahashi Ai picked Kamei Eri and Shimizu Saki for her unit called E.A.S. H!P's three best dancers! This was interesting because the three of them actually performed a song together in one of the Hello Project concerts.
Mitsui Aika picked only Maimai, which is interesting. I didn't know they were friends. But Maimai didn't pick Mitsui for her unit. LOL.
Chinami only picked Maimi, and Maimi only picked Chinami... is something going on here?
Miya's group only consists of Berryz.
Kumai-chan's group is my favourite. She picked Junjun, Maasa and Maimi and called it DEKAMONI (opposite of MiniMoni, meaning GiantMoni) ZOMGLOL... that is too funny!! XD XD


Question 2 was broken into 6 parts. It surveyed different idol aspects/abilities. I've tallied up the results for each part.
Sorry about the changes in significant figures in each stage. Some members couldn't just pick one, so I had to divide the answer up, so that each part would add up to 25.

Wow, cool, Miya topped this one! Can't say I know much about each member's individual style, since most of the time when we see them they're in costumes or have been dressed by stylists. But w/e Berryz totally topped 4 out of the 6 questions. yayay!

This is already long enough anyway!!

This table is SO interesting! I gotta get B.B to translate the rest of the questions for me! There's some stuff about motherly-feeling, little sisters and boys! I have to know!! lol!

Yeah, a bit slow on the updates lately...
Where's Buono!?

I thought this PV looked kind of cheap, especially since it's their major debut single... A little disappointed to tell you the truth... and those 'sad' shots have already been done with Jiriri Kiteru, Naichau Kamo and SHOCK. No story-line and props, this PV was a little lacking in budget, which was surprising.
However, the song does get catchy after a few listens.

I do like the simplicity of these covers, although what's the deal with H!P and freaking gradients?
However, in this case I'll let it slide because it's subtle and I do think it suits. But gradients, really? Don't you have any better ideas?

The photography is nice and clean and their outfits are cute! I wonder if those are real Vivienne Westwood necklaces... Hot shoes! I wanted a pair like them, but haven't found nice ones yet.

I have to say the limited A is my favourite. The regular is blah, but the two limited are nice :)

I don't like their new haircuts though! I liked it when they all had long hair!! ><

Morning Musume


Here we have a tiny tiny preview image of the cover of Morning Musume's upcoming single 'Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai.'


They are all wearing those fugly puffy wedding dresses with red crap that looks like blood on it, that we saw in some concert preview images. The cover is pretty boring... But then again how can they be inventive when they have eight girls to cram on to one cover, right?
I just hope they don't wear these ugly dresses in the PV, but they totally will.


There's also a low quality radio rip of the c/w track to the single entitled 'Nakidasu Kamo Shirenai yo.'
From what I hear, I think it sounds good?

A radio rip of Morning Musume's 42nd 'Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai' single is out!


I'm kinda excited for this single! It sounds good! Very Takahashi Ai and Reina heavy as usual.
The violin instrumental kinda reminds me of Sailor Moon, you know whenever Uranus and Neptune appear? LOL

(Single V: 24 February)



Morning Musume are also to release their tenth studio album in the new year.
Entitled '10 My Me' the album will include 12 tracks, four of which are likely to be their last four singles – 'Shouganai Yume Oibito,' 'Nanchatte Renai,' 'Kimagure Princess' and 'Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai.' This means there will also be at least 8 new Momusu songs we can look forward to!

The album will be released with a regular and limited edition. The limited will come with a bonus DVD which will include a LIVE version of 'Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai' and also solo versions for each member.

Release Date: 17 March

FINALLY BERRYZ NEWS!
Berryz news has been quite scarce this past year, probably because of all their double A-side singles and their stage production.



And now to add to their repertoire, a THIRD double A-side single!
'Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! / Otakebi Boy WAO!' is the title of their 22nd single, which roughly translates to 'A friend is a friend / War Cry Boy WAO!'
Just as with their previous song 'Ryuusei Boy,' their new song 'Otakebi Boy WAO!' will be used as the next ending song for anime Inazuma Eleven.

Four versions of the single will be released – Regular edition and Limited A, B, and C. A Single V for 'Otakebi Boy WAO!' has also announced.

Release Date: 3 March

ºC-ute


The PV for ºC-ute's upcoming single 'SHOCK' has been out for quite some time now and caused a bit of a stir because it's pretty much an Airi solo song.


I do like the song since it's catchy and has that James Bond/Arabian feel, but I kinda feel sorry for the other members, none of whom get a single solo line except for saying the word 'shock' once. It's a bit of pity. Ume-san just graduated, you'd think now they'd each have more of a chance to be in the spotlight, but no... Just as the song title explains 'SHOCK' ºC-ute is now Suzuki Airi feat. ºC-ute.

It was funny in this clip that Airi even got to speak for the group. Isn't that usually the leader's job? Poor Maimi!
